MOTS AND SERVICING

An MOT test is a way of making sure all cars, motorcycles and light goods vehicles over 3 years old are roadworthy and comply with requirements of the law. An MOT test is carried out annually and ensures the vehicle is properly maintained. It is worth noting that an MOT test certificate only applies to the condition of testable items at the time of the test and is not a guarantee of the general mechanical condition of the vehicle

An old test certificate is not necessary to have your vehicle tested.

An MOT test can be booked up to 28 days prior to expiry

If an MOT has expired and it has been overlooked, you can legally drive your car to the MOT testing station via the most direct route, providing an appointment has already been made.
Upon supplying the proof to the MOT testing station you can obtain a replacement MOT certificate.

You can obtain a replacement MOT certificate if you supply proof.  The necessary proof would be your driving licence or certificate number or the vehicle’s registration certificate number.
You can view an MOT vehicle inspection providing you do not distract the tester.
We have a customer waiting area where a selection of hot drinks are available from a vending machine.
It can be more cost effective to have your service and MOT carried out at the same time.  Ask us for prices for your make and model.
We can collect and/or deliver your car to you at a convenient time, please advise that you require this service at the time of making your appointment.

We do Class 7 MOT’s at our Billingham and Stockton sites
